My flight is booked! I decided to go for the first class ticket to Rome and economy coming back home. I used my reward points so my flight only cost me $200 more than economy both ways would have cost...and I get the bonus of being pampered a bit on the way. Now there is only the car to reserve. Next week I will apply for my International Driver's License and my Visitors Visa which I need because I will be staying in Italy for more than 90 days. Once that is done I can rest easy for awhile and focus on the contract work I will be doing in Charlottetown PEI.
Life is good!
UPDATE: I reserved my car today. A Peugeot 207 5 door hatchback with automatic transmission, air conditioning, and GPS.
Now everything is getting very real. I am glad I got this done as I start work this week and head to Charlottetown this coming weekend. I am getting very excited now! Less than 15 weeks till I am on my way to Tuscany!
Musings regarding my preperations for my trip to Tuscany in the fall of 2011. I will continue to post a running commentary of my activities while I am in Tuscany.
Castelmuzio

Castelmuzio is the town I will call home for 3 months. Only 240 residents that dont speak much English..it will be like playing sherades!
About Me
- Diane
- Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada
- I am a retired Canadian woman who enjoys travel, art, music, family and retired life. I have so many things I want to do and experience now that I have the freedom to do so. In July 2010 I retired after 30 years of public service. I moved away from the city and settled in beautiful Prince Edward County on Lake Ontario. In August 2011 I met the man I want to spend the rest of my life with, and we have been inseparable ever since. I am living the life I have always dreamed of and I am so grateful for all the blessings in my life.
